Boulder County, Colo. - On March 8, 2020 at approximately 7:57 p.m, Boulder County Sheriff's Office communications center was notified of an injured hiker near Brainard Lake. The hiker was unable to walk out due to his injuries. Personnel from the Indian Peaks Fire Department and Rocky Mountain Rescue Group were able to transport the hiker by use of a snowmobile and UTV. The hiker was transported to Boulder Community Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
