Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space is accepting applications for the 2023 Volunteer Naturalist training class. The application deadline is Monday, Oct. 31.

Volunteer naturalists help Boulder County Parks & Open Space by leading hikes, presenting slide programs, and providing hands-on experiences to people of all ages. As part of the training, volunteers learn about interpretive techniques to connect with audiences.

  • Applicants must have ongoing weekday availability and commit to helping lead at least six programs in 2023.
  • Previous experience is not necessary – only a desire to share nature with others!
