Resource Conservation Advisory Board (RCAB)

The Resource Conservation Advisory Board (RCAB) was formed in 2002 to advise the Board of County Commissioners on major waste diversion policies and strategies. RCAB meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 4:45 – 6:30 p.m.

RCAB implemented a survey of its members in 2012 to gather solid waste and diversion data for 2011 by community. The survey provides a quick overview of what each town/city does for solid waste diversion, incentives, costs, tons and kinds of materials diverted.
