Naloxone (brand name Narcan) is a drug used to reverse an overdose from opioids (heroin, oxycontin, etc.). Boulder County Public Health is working to train members of the community who are at a high likelihood of being in the presence of someone who might overdose. This drug saves lives.

Free prescriptions of Noloxone are available for The Works Program participants.
